ENQUIRE NOW

VR and immersive learning experiences are at the forefront of education.

For School Groups, FREAK offers:

  • OOSH Group and Vacation care activities
  • STEM Based VR Excursions

FREAK gives schools the ability to offer the most immersive learning experiences possible through our high end VR equipment, and range of STEM based educational content.

Here are a few of some of our education titles. Our arcade titles are also available as part of school trips.

OVERVIEW: A WALK THROUGH THE UNIVERSE

OVERVIEW is an awakening VR experience on our position in the Universe. It uses data and images from space agencies to bring you as close as possible to seeing the cosmos for real.

Through 6 narrated chapters and 2 educational activities, experience our position in the Solar System, the Milky Way, and the Universe.
Available in English, Chinese, French and German.

TITANS OF SPACE

Just how big is big? Journey through this holographic Solar System, and then squint your eyes in the intense light of a few of the largest known stars. Enjoy various accidentally-educational activities along the way. Great care has been taken to ensure a comfortable VR experience.

FEED A TITANOSAUR

Come face to face with one of the largest creatures to ever walk planet Earth and feed it! The object of this bite-sized educational project is to allow amazing facts to be delivered in an immersive VR experience, with a focus on our Titanosaur – Argentinosaurus.
This project blends the simple concept of dinosaur interaction with a friendly, highly detailed 3D mesh model, animating realistically and adjusting it’s poses based on the player’s actions.
Sir David Attenborough launched this experience last year at York Museum as part of their Yorkshire’s Jurassic World exhibition.
“Tremendous… I imagine every child for miles around will want to see it!” Sir David Attenborough.

CALCFLOW

Ever wanted to learn vector calculus?
See some crazy parametrized functions?
Did newton invent or discover calculus?

These are all questions this VR experience may be able to answer.
Calcflow features intuitive ways you can learn the foundations of vector calculus.
Manipulate vectors with your hands, explore vector addition and cross product.
See and feel a double integral of a sinusoidal graph in 3D, a mobius strip and it’s normal, and spherical coordinates!
Create your own parametrized function and vector field! Don’t worry, if these sound like crazy mumbo jumbo, you can always explore some of our awesome presets and sample problems!

OCEANS WE MAKE

Drop into a pristine ocean that’s teeming with life, and observe the beautiful surroundings just as you would if you were scuba diving. But don’t get too comfy! You’ll have to help with an important task that is simple enough… until it’s not! Oceans We Make is a short, award-winning experience designed for impact. Using stunning visuals and straightforward gameplay, this underwater experience will leave you thinking about our beautiful oceans and what we can do to save them – all in under 5 minutes. It’s a great introduction to VR and, most importantly , it’s a glimpse into our future if we don’t act now.

INFINITE ART MUSEUM

The Infinite Art Museum is building a collection of art bigger than the Louvre – a free, permanent virtual reality museum open to all artists. Our mission is to create a growing and enduring home for art in VR that is accessible to everyone.

Explore paintings, illustrations and photography from creators all over the world with more joining every week. We will be adding Special Collections and new artists to this and further volumes as the IAM grows.

DISSECTION SIMULATOR: FROG

Make Ribbit-ing Discoveries in this virtual reality Frog Dissection. Learn the fundamentals of the female frog anatomy in a fully immersive virtual reality experience. This true to life experience covers each step that a student would take if they were dissecting a real frog in their classroom. Along the way, a hologram of our teacher will pop up to provide instruction and information to users. The dissection experience is recreated to the finest detail so that they are a suitable substitute for the real thing in a classroom. Lifelike physical models mean that the frog appears as it would in a real dissection allowing science teachers to feel good about substituting virtual reality for the real thing.

SHORT CIRCUIT

Short Circuit VR is an electronics lab simulator in Virtual Reality. You can build your own electronic circuits with the components provided, learn basic electronics by completing challenges and just have fun while experimenting and making awesome projects! While Short Circuit VR can be used as a learning tool for young and old, it can be used by hobbyists and anyone who wants to experiment and build things with electronic components.

RICHIE'S PLANK EXPERIENCE

You’re on a plank, 80 stories high. Knees shaky, palms sweaty. You have a choice. Do you walk or do you freeze? A great taste into how powerful VR can be in tricking the senses!
